In the late afternoon, Inside the Frost family Palace, Kent sat before the dining table. Several rare varieties of foods were placed before him.

She gritted her teeth in anger and replied, "I am not angry. Why should I be angry? Everyone has their own important works. I should mind my own business." Lily replied in a hurried tone while staring at her food.

Kent smiled after seeing her childish behaviour. "Are you upset because I didn’t participate in the Trident Summit?" Kent asked with a questioning look.

"No… why should I care what you do with your life? I’m just angry at myself." she replied curtly while avoiding Kent’s face.

"Stop behaving like a child. You just did the right thing. Don’t blame yourself for holding back your army in the last two trials of the trident summit." KEnt said while staring at her.

In the next second, tears filled in Lily’s eyes as Kent spoke about the exact thing, which was worrying her. Kent, while staring into her eyes, adjusted the front hair-strands of Lily to her ear side. "Look at me… I’m only thinking of your safety. Don’t you feel that?"

Lily, with her vision obstructed by the tears, continued to stare at Kent with surprised eyes. She was completely taken aback back by his sudden action.

As their eyes met for a brief second, Kent leaned forward and directly pressed his lips against her.

Lily’s eyes went wide as she never expected this warm and sudden gesture from Kent.

Ghule, the head servant, came at the wrong time and directly dropped all the utensils in his hand after seeing the intimate scene of Kent and Lily.

Both Lily and Kent were separated in a flash and sat back in their seats in hurry.
