As he clicked on the corresponding tab, he discovered an entire menu filled with dark arts and skills.
However, only one was currently unlocked.
The others remained tantalizingly out of reach, locked away due to his current lack of skill and levels.
With a sense of anticipation, he selected the unlocked dark art, which was simply labeled as "Necromantic Grimoire."
As he clicked on it, a new window opened, revealing a list of available skills and spells.

"Damn"
As Korig perused the list of dark arts and their descriptions, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
These were powers of darkness, forbidden knowledge that had once belonged to the Lich.
Now, they were his to wield.
The first skill, "Reanimate," caught his attention.
It seemed like a practical choice for his current situation.
"A minion would be really helpful right now"
He clicked on it, and a prompt appeared, asking if he wanted to learn this skill.
Korig considered the possibilities and the potential advantages of having a loyal undead minion.
With a determined nod, he clicked Yes.
A sense of power surged through him as he acquired the skill.
Please provide a prompt to use the power
The system window showed.
With a sly grin Korig thought about a prompt. But only one came to his mind.
"This is one of my favourites"
He said as he took a step forward.
"ARISE"
The parking lot, once silent, came to life as a nearby corpse twitched and then rose, its empty eyes fixed on Korig.
It was now his obedient servant.
Korig couldn't help but smile at the success of his newfound power.
With his new undead companion at his side, he felt ready to face the challenges that awaited him in the mall.
As he continued to explore the Necromantic Grimoire, he knew that he would have to level up and gain experience to unlock the other dark arts and their full potential.
The path of darkness had been chosen, and Korig was prepared to walk it to its darkest depths.
...
With his newly acquired skill "Reanimate," Korig stood in the transformed parking lot, his undead minion by his side.
He glanced at the list of locked dark arts and skills in the Necromantic Grimoire, each one representing a potential source of power and devastation.
However, the level requirements for most of them were beyond his current capabilities.
He would need to gain experience and strengthen his skills to access these forbidden arts.
Korig decided to seek out more zombies within the mall to further test his abilities and level up.
The undead horde awaited him, a sea of potential experience points.
With a nod to his loyal undead minion, he began walking to the slanted road. He decided to enter it from the top and make it to the bottom slowly.
He soon reached the top, he took out some of the stray zombies that occupied the way to the secondary parking lot.
His minion was also of great help as it attacked its own kind under the order of Korig.
But nevertheless, Korig was getting the experience points from the zombies his minion took down.
He then soon entered the mall, his senses alert and his determination unwavering.
He took a look inside the mall. It was filled with zombies.
With a grin he stepped inside, his palpable excitement clearly visible.
"Let's go"
Inside the dark and desolate corridors of the mall, Korig encountered wave after wave of zombies.
His control over them was growing stronger, and he dispatched them with eerie efficiency.
With each kill, his experience points increased, slowly but steadily.
As he fought his way through the mall, he couldn't help but wonder about the other dark arts and skills that remained locked.
The power to hurl gravefire bolts, create bone armor, and command multiple undead minions beckoned to him.
He yearned to unlock these abilities and become a true master of the dark arts.
...
Hours passed, and the once thriving mall became a battleground of death and decay.
Korig's skills continued to improve, and he leveled up, his power growing with each point earned.
It was during a particularly intense battle that he realized the true potential of his newfound abilities.
He had unlocked a new power.
He clicked on the instruction tab once again, revealing the locked abilities that had taunted him before.
As he looked at them, a burning desire to acquire them all surged within him.
Korig couldn't help but wonder about the potential of Gravefire Bolt a spell that promised to engulf his enemies in ghostly flames.
He imagined the destructive power it could unleash.
With a determined glint in his eyes, he clicked on Gravefire Bolt and was met with a prompt asking if he wanted to learn this skill.
"Yes," he affirmed without hesitation.
As the dark knowledge flowed into him, Korig could feel the power of the spell at his fingertips.
He raised his hand, and a spectral flame ignited, casting an eerie glow in the dim mall.
The destructive potential of the spell was undeniable.
As he unleashed a wave of gravefire bolts, incinerating a group of zombies, he felt a surge of dark energy coursing through him.
It was as if the very essence of the Lich flowed within him, empowering his every move.
With the mall's upper levels cleared, Korig descended into the depths, where the strongest and most formidable zombies awaited.
He was determined to level up further, to unlock the remaining dark arts, and to become a force that would reshape this world.
...
Now, Korig stood at a crossroads.
The mall's lower levels had yet to be cleared of zombies, and he had leveled up considerably.
He brought up the window tab again.
He continued to scroll through the list of locked abilities, his mind racing with possibilities.
The Bone Armor, Raise dead and Death Shroud all called out to him, promising new heights of power.
He was determined to unlock them all, to become a true master of the dark arts.
The Undead King Lich's legacy was now his, and he intended to wield it to its fullest extent.
With renewed determination, Korig stood in the heart of the mall, surrounded by the remnants of his battles.
The path of darkness lay ahead, and he was ready to embrace it, one dark art at a time.
As he gazed upon the list of locked abilities, a fire burned in his eyes.
He clenched his fists, feeling the surge of power within him.
With unwavering resolve, he spoke the words that would shape his destiny:
"I'm going to be the strongest."
