Chapter 13 - Trouble
He felt a headache, knowing that he would be in the same class as the three tyrants.
'Well, worrying won't help me anyway. I will just stay out of their sight and hope that nothing goes wrong.'
Grr!
Grr!
he heard a rumbling.
As he Looked towards the sound, he found the fatty holding his stomach with both his hands.
Seeing his expression, Max spoke.
"Let's go to the cafeteria. I am hungry and there is still an hour before the general courses."
'Even though I don't want to admit it, I don't find this fatty repulsive.'
For a lonely person like him, seeing Kevin kind of reminded him of himself.
Although he was not bullied, everyone used to laugh behind his back.
Then, he couldn't ignore him, knowing his situation.
he would just stay out of his problems, and be friends.
After all, he was his dorm mate.
.....
Hearing him, the fatty replied excitedly, "Yeah, let's go, I am dying from hunger."
They left the classroom and walked towards the cafeteria.
Seeing the crowded cafeteria, They waited for a bit to get an empty table.𝑓𝘳ℯ𝒆w𝘦𝘣𝙣𝘰ѵ𝘦𝚕.c𝗼𝓶
...
Sitting on the chair, Max asked the fatty, "What do you want to eat? I have decided on mine."
"Uh..wait a second."
He took a while before answering, "Get me three courses of lunch set B."
Hearing him, Max looked at the lunch set B and his brows twitched. Even with his size, there had to be a limit to how much one can eat.
Max got up from his seat and joined the queue to order the food.
After a while, he heard a commotion.
Looking towards the entrance of the cafeteria.
He saw a tall and handsome guy walking in with a gentle smile on his face.
A guy, whom he really didn't want to meet.
James Ovens.
Looking at him, a feeling of danger crept up on him, as if his instincts were yelling to stay away from him
He directly walked towards the stairs to the second floor and left his followers on the first floor .
Seeing them, the students closer to them abandoned their seats .
he saw a familiar face among those lackeys of his.
that silver earring bastard was one of his lackeys.
he felt disgust and contempt rising towards those bastards.
....
"Hey, Stain, look there." The bald guy sitting next to Stain pointed towards the other end of the cafeteria.
Stain followed his hand and a smile crept up on his face.
"Isn't that the fatty who used to follow Boss's women?" The guy sitting opposite to Stain asked.
"Yes, it's him. Didn't Boss ask Stain to let the fatty have a wonderful life in the Academy?" One of the guys said with a sly smile shifting everyone's attention on Stain.
Snickering, Stain gave him a disdainful look for his little scheme before replying, "You don't need to remind me."
With that, he got up from his seat, holding a glass of water, and made his way towards the fatty.
...
grr!
grr!
Kevin clutched his stomach in pain, waiting for Max to bring the food.
But suddenly, he felt water burbling down his head.
Feeling the soaked clothes sticking to his skin, Kevin felt his stomach churning in anger.
Kevin turned back cursing, "What the fuck!"
....
Receiving the order, Max finally got out of the queue. Then he heard a commotion.
He looked at the source of the commotion and found it to be in the direction of his seat.
Feeling something was wrong, Max looked at the group of James's lackeys and found them missing.
Having a bad premonition, he quickened my pace.
Passing through the crowd, he heard the fatty's groan.
Finally, he made his way to the centre of the crowd to find the fatty lying on the ground with finger marks on his face.
Seeing his state, Max felt anger brewing within him, when he heard that earring bastard's voice.
"You all have seen, this isn't my fault."
"I just stumbled and the glass of water fell on his head."
"But, this fatty was being unreasonable even after I apologized and was demanding compensation."
"And when I refused, he started cursing out and made the first move"
"Yes, I can be his witness," A guy from the crowd said.
"Me, too," He heard another voice.
"I saw it, too," Another guy spoke.
He saw the James lackeys, speaking from the crowd, claimed to be witnesses.
Hearing them, a guy from the crowd spoke, "Yes, I heard the fatty cursing too."
Seeing them twist the truth, Max felt his anger reaching the limit.
He knew the fatty wouldn't do anything like that. If he had that much guts, he wouldn't have taken it lying down during the first class.
He set his tray on a nearby table and pushed past the guy in front of him to step into the center of the commotion.
'I don't know what will happen, but if I step back today, I won't be able to forgive myself.'
That day, many things could happen.'
But the one thing he was confident of not happening was he having regrets.
With that in mind, he moved forward, activating his skill «God's Blessing».
But before he could make his move, he felt a chill down his back and the next thing he heard was a thunderclap.
Crackle!
And a purple lightning bolt descended out of nowhere, landed right next to Stain, hurling him right through the tables.
"You bastards, take it out, don't spoil my food"
Max heard a familiar voice.
He followed the voice to find a red-haired guy munching on his food without a care of his actions.
It was him, the guy from the Dorm.
"Who the fuck was that. You son of a-!!"
Stain shouted before getting up in anger, covered in different types of dishes.
But his cursing stopped when his gaze met Wilson.
Hearing him, Wilson replied with a grin, as he got up from his seat.
"I am the one."
"So what are you gonna do? Wanna fight? Bring it on, it has been a while since I let loose."
He stretched out his hand and beckoned Stain to make a move.
Seeing Justice being served, he felt happiness swelling from the bottom of his heart along with a yearning for power.
He suppressed his feeling realising that the fatty was still lying on the ground.
He moved to help him up while the drama continued.
"You!... Don't be too cocky, Wilson. Do you think you are the strongest one in the Academy?" Stain spoke as the veins on his face bulged out.
"Yeah! Right, I forgot you were just a dog. Why don't you bark for your owner.."
Wilson spoke, without giving any inch of face to Stain.
"You! you!...." Before Stain could speak any further, one of his comrades stopped him and replied in his place.
"Wilson, this has nothing to do with you. So, stay out of it."
"Ha..ha...if you speak that way, then let me tell you, the two guys you see there are my dorm mates and can be considered to be my friends."
With that, Max felt numerous gazes on him.
He felt helpless.
Even though he was prepared to do something which would make him the center of attention, he didn't think that would happen in that way.
Wilson laughed before speaking again with a stern face as a trace of anger flashed in his eyes.
"Now, do you expect me to watch as you bully my friends?"
He raised his hand as purple lightning crackled in it.
.....
'Fuck! This guy is crazy.' A thought emerged in Stain's head as he looked at Wilson's smile.
Stain gestured to the guy beside him and the guy took out his phone and sent a message.
Now, they just need to hold him back for a while.
Boss will be here any second.
....
On the second floor of the Cafeteria.
A place where only a few rich students came to dine.
At that time at a table, two girls and a handsome guy could be found sitting.
But, their conversation was interrupted as they were disturbed by the beeping sound of the phone.
The guy spoke with a beautiful smile on seeing the notification.
"It looks like I will have to go. I hope to share a conversation with you two ladies if chances allow."
With that, he got up and walked out as a group of people also got up, left their seats and followed him.
Seeing them leave, the girl with blonde hair spoke.
"Lisa, do you really think it was a coincidence meeting him here?"
"Who knows?"
"Besides, even if it wasn't, he seems a pretty decent guy, don't you think so, too, Elly?" Lisa spoke with a teasing smile.
"No, I don't. Something feels wrong about him," Elly replied with a frown.
....
Seeing the face of that guy sweat profusely, Max felt happy.
Served those bastards right.
But, before he could celebrate any further, he felt a chill running down my spine.
And the thing which he totally forgot in celebration, came to his mind.
Yes, he was there.
