Chapter 607 - The future empress of the federation

607 The future empress of the federation

He honestly couldn’t wait for the bridal chamber to love his wife tenderly. The elder who was keeping these two in check finally urged Zi Han to call Yi Chen’s parents mother and father. Zi Han had no problem calling Lin Ruoxi mum. In fact, he subconsciously called her that several times so it wasn’t an issue at all.

The problem was getting to call Yi Zhen dad. That was the most difficult thing to do. He had sort of let go of the past and for the sake of Yi Chen, he was willing to get along with his father in law but... past trauma couldn’t be completely forgotten.

Though he had a very difficult time, Zi Han still said it. He turned to Yi Zhen and called out, “Father,” with his head bowing slightly. For a moment Yi Zhen thought he wouldn’t say it so one could only imagine his expression when Zi Han called him that. He suddenly felt very undeserving and his response was a little awkward. Lucky for him it was Yi Chen’s turn so they had to move on quickly.

Yi Chen smiled slightly and called out stiffly, “Ma,” to Zi Xingxi. Zi Xingxi nodded her head slightly acknowledging him. Her reaction was as expected. Calm, chilled and not once did she make him feel uncomfortable.

It was Yeoh Jun’s reaction that was unexpected.

The moment he called out, “Pa,” Yeoh Jun hugged him and said,

“Welcome to the family my son. You are the future empress of the Federation.”

Yi Chen, “...” 𝒇re𝐞w𝐞𝚋𝒏𝚘ѵeƖ c𝗼𝑚

At least Yeoh Jun liked him a lot though his enthusiasm was a little suffocating to the introvert. “It is official. You are now family,” said the elder before announcing the new couple to the entire federation.

.....

Outside the sound of firecrackers ripped through the air with hovering banners displaying congratulatory messages.

Now that the formalities were done and over with, the real party began. The entire banquet was a lavish affair with lots of delicious treats. No one held back. That’s because the meals in front of them were like divine delicacies making it very difficult for one to refuse. There was roasted duck, roasted pig, abalone and sea cucumber, fish, scallops, rice, and noodles among other things. There was plenty of rice wine and red wine gifted by luxury brands thus those who wanted to swim in wine could swim freely till they didn’t remember their mothers.

Yi Chen had to go around toasting everyone as the groom and Zi Han gladly slipped away in hiding with Hela and Li Ran.

He was so impressed by Li Ran’s dress that he couldn’t help but take a few pictures to commemorate him showing off his legs. Since Li Ran wanted to make a good impression on Hela’s grandfather they compromised. He didn’t have to wear it during the ceremony but during the banquet, they would swap and boy did he look good in Hela’s dress.

“You two are you satisfied?” asked Li Ran while awkwardly pulling the skirt down subconsciously. He glanced in the mirror to admire himself.

Hela was right to pull into waxing his legs. Sure his legs felt weird at first but now they were as smooth as silk and looked great with the dress. He would never tell her that ever otherwise who knows what new thing she would make him try.

“Wow... just wow,” said Hela admiring her naive boyfriend’s legs. Li Ran turned to look at her and almost got a heart attack.

That’s because she was staring at him with a very familiar look. It was familiar because he always looked at her like that when he was hungry for something something. She looked like she was going to smack his peach if Zi Han wasn’t here.

He looked away his face flushed like he was the bride at this wedding. “But I think I look fat in this dress,” he said trying to shift the subject elsewhere but he underestimated his starving girlfriend.

“Yes, you do especially your behind. There is a lot of junk in that trunk,” she said and Zi Han knew when it was time for him to leave.

Lucky for him, the door opened and Yi Feng entered inside. When he saw this scene he wasn’t fazed at all. Who among the four of them hadn’t worn a dress? Please don’t ask him when that happened. With the type of boyfriend he had it was inevitable.

“Ready to go? The car is waiting for you,” he said and Zi Han got on his feet in a hurry.

“I will see you guys later. Don’t overdo it,” he said and Li Ran asked with a clueless look on his face,

“Overdo what?”

Hela just smiled tacitly while saying, “You too,” before the door closed.

Zi Han took two steps forward and the sound of an ass being smacked reverberated through the walls. He chuckled softly while Yi Feng’s expression turned nostalgic. Every morning his butt cheeks weren’t spared neither did he spare Kiet. They would grope and smack each other as they got ready for the day. That was one of his favourite times of the day.

“All three aunties are waiting for you. They will take you to your house. Oh, and Ah-Chen will join you later. Your father and grandpa Lin are having a private conversation with him,” said Yi Feng while leading him to the main entrance.

The so-called private conversation was no were near one. They just wanted an excuse to get him drunk and mess with him as is at every wedding. Hopefully, he would be sober enough to find his way into the bridal chamber otherwise he will miss out on all the plans he had been looking forward to.

Zi Han nodded his head as they exited the royal hall. Outside his mother took his hand and pulled him into the hovercar. A procession of hovercars soon left the reception whisking the bride away without the groom knowing it. When he did find out that his bride was gone these men finally witness what a panicked marshal looked like. Yeoh Jun knew that Yi Chen loved his son but Yi Chen’s freak out when he realised Zi Han was gone Yeoh Jun concluded that this was the ride or die type of love. Zi Han was like his very breath and without him, he would suffocate to death.
