Chapter 188: What Do You Think OfHim

Inside the infirmary room.

Frederick, Parth, Roan and Charles sat in front of the operation room though there was no operation going on inside.

Lucas's condition was quite bad and a healer was called to check his condition and cure him.

The Academy doesn't use advanced potions cause they were highly expensive.

Moreover, why would they need to waste too much money when they had a healer who can cure almost all the diseases.

Although most of the top-class healers were hoarded by the Church and Royals still the healers in Horizon can be said as the best in the class.

Though Fredrick had taken potions to heal himself and replenish his strength, he was still seriously injured.

While the potions healed the huge wound on his chest still a huge scar remained on his chest which was left by Lucas's sword.

He needs to take advanced and high-level potions to get rid of the scar. His face was still pale as a sheet while he was lost in the thoughts of the battle.

The battle was quite terrific and exciting in a way for him.

Parth looked at the paled face of Fredrick slurping down the couch and asked with a solemn expression.

"Hey, Frederick what was that?"

"Did someone possess you two?"

"You two were going over each other throats as if you two are blood enemies and only one death will end the enmity."

Fredrick raised his brows and asked, "Why did you think like that?"

"Fredeick are you kidding me?" Parth asked with an angered tone.

"Every fight has a tempo which starts with exchanging some minor moves and you slowly move towards the power moves just like both of you did in the semi-final but you two just started showing off with your skills and threw everything each other from the beginning," Parth spoke.

Fredeick looked around to see Charles and Roan's questioning gazes who were asking the same question.

"Because it was the finale where we put everything against each other. We didn't waste any time and fought like real enemies." Frederick answered.

"Hush!!! Let's leave the talk of the fight for later. Still, you won the match even though it looked like you would lose at one point."Charles spoke with a smile.

Fredrick looked at Charles and thought about it for a moment and raised his hands in the air and to everyone's surprise, it was trembling slightly.

Fredrick looked at his trembling hand with a solemn expression and spoke with a slight heavy voice, "I thought Lucas was going to kill me for a moment."

"Seriously for a moment, I thought I was gonna meet my maker but I think he suddenly stopped his attack in the midst a suffered a little bit of backlash which resulted in my victory."

"If he went through the last attack he could have chopped and split my body into two halves."

"What!" Everyone present there screamed on hearing Fredrick's words.

Fredrick closed his ears for a moment on hearing their ear rupturing scream and spoke"I am just saying. Did you forget we have the bracelet that could save us at that moment?"

"Hush!"

All of us took an air of relief as they were shocked by Fredrick's words.

"I don't understand, how are you sure that Lucas could have won," Charles asked.

Frederick slid his finger on the huge hideous scar. At the moment, he was shirtless as the wound was itching quite a bit.

Sliding his fingers along it, he spoke"Lucas cut my attack, if not how can his sword arc reach here if his attacks weren't powerful. He could have chopped my attack."

Fredrick wanted to explain the whole scenario he had witnessed.

The moment Lucas slashed, Fredrick saw a huge red-figure manifestation comprising six arms which gave him unbearable pressure at that moment a crimson light flashed from Lucas's eyes that made him look like a devil but he wanted to keep it a secret for now.

"Fredrick can you explain a bit about that thing," Charles asked while both Roan and Parth looked at Fredrick quite curiously.

Fredrick rubbed their chin and spoke, "Let me ask you a question?"

"What do you think of Lucas?"

All of them raised their burrows on hearing the question and pondered about it but before they could speak, Fredrick spoke.

"When I first met him, my first impression of him was that of a naive, cute boy who doesn't know the ways of the world."

"It's still the same if you see him," Parth spoke nonchalantly.

"Yeah, in fact, Lucas is still kind. When he meets an elderly person he would bow to them and greet everyone politely."

"Even if someone harasses him and tries to act arrogantly and tried to criticise him, he would ask for forgiveness and apologize for the mistake which he hadn't even committed. In other words, he is gentle and kind sould." Fredrick spoke and then sighed.

"But!"

Everyone's ears perked up as they waited for Fredrick's words with much anticipation.

"Only if you don't touch his reverse scale."

Everyone's eyeballs widened as they thought about it after all everybody knows what happens next when Lucas is pissed.

"It may not look like but ruthlessness is engraved in his bones that could give others chills and make them tremble in fear. These types of people are saints and filled with kindness if you don't provoke them."

"Once you did, they would become a wounded wolf who would stare intently with you waiting for you to put down your guard and pounce on you, the moment you became carefree. He will never forget nor will let his enemies forget that he will be coming for them no matter how strong the enemy is or what type of backing this person has."

"Just to win against the enemies he would be ready to sacrifice his limbs and bear the blow with the body. He will allow his opponent to strike and when the opponent loses his guard he would kill him. This is the reason I only used power moves, if I engaged in close combat, I was sure Lucas would allow my spear to stab him and then he would use all his strength to stick the spear in the wound so that I can't recover it and then...."

All of them felt a chill down their spine on Fredrick's analysis though they didn't think that Lucas would go that far just to win a match.

"If he could be so ruthless on himself just think how he's like to the enemies."

"Although Lucas might appear gentle on the surface, the pride within his heart was quite great. It would be alright if one treated him politely. However, if one were to display your enmity and try to test his patience, the attitude that the person would receive would likely not be good."

Moreover, Frederick wanted to say that it might have to do something with Lucas's bloodline but refrained from telling it as it might be Lucas's secret and spreading it among others wouldn't be good.

But what frightened Fredrick more was his spear warning.

His spear words repeatedly rang in his mind as the spear noticed that there was the presence of divinity in Lucas which he perceived in the last strike.

Fredrick was curious about it but thought that he would save it for later and wait until he became stronger and unlock the full potential of Doom Piecer so that it can give an accurate analysis of Lucas's state.

......

Inside the Emergency room.

A great storm was about to blow.

The doctor checked Lucas's vitals which were dropping but he didn't treat him outright.

Rather he started to perform several tests on Lucas.

Before coming here, he had been offered tons of money and resources by the nobles who asked him to examine Lucas and see if he had something unusual that can increase his strength in a short time.

Most of the nobles were curious about Lucas growing stronger in such a short time even with a low bloodline.

They thought that Lucas may have found some treasure that can help to make a quick breakthrough and wanted that thing.

And seeing the opportunity to arrive before them how can they stop themselves from baring their fangs at him.

The doctor examined Lucas's blood and many other things but as soon as he got the results, his hand trembled in fear.

"Oh, My God!" The man shouted and looked at the pale looking boy and the report.

"This boy is a firecracker. I can't believe he has such a secret."

"I should inform them now."

"Hahahahahahhahaahah." The doctor laughed crazily thinking about his future where he was going to bathe in money and gold. His life was going to be changed.

He took out the phone and started to open the chat to message the nobles while humming in a pleasant tone" I am going to be rich and maybe I can become a noble myself."

As soon as he typed the text and was about to type enter and send it, his body froze entirely and he wasn't able to move a single strand of his muscle fibre.

He panicked and tried to turn around but his head didn't nor any words come out of his mouth as he tried to scream.

Drops of sweat started to form on his head and as he was wondering what of the kind was going on, he heard a cold chilling voice and felt as if a grim reaper appeared behind him.

"You shouldn't have become a greedy bastard."
