Chapter 213: Trapped ln Dungeon

Lucas stared at the huge blue vortex before him which made him feel quite nostalgic.

"It had been so long since I entered the dungeon," Lucas spoke while rubbing his nose.

"Yeah, it had been so long since we raided as a team." Aaron who stood behind me spoke.

Today all the members of the skies had assembled to enter an E-rank dungeon.

Lucas was reunited with them after quite some time, so he was looking forward to it.

Morgana pounced on Lucas and said, "Lucas you have grown so big and strong."

"From 1-Star to mid of 3-Star in such a short time. And you can even take on a 4-Star quite easily."

"So, please protect this big sister of yours," Morgana spoke while rubbing his cheek on Lucas.

"I will protect you, Big Sis," Lucas spoke while scratching his cheek in embarrassment.

"Okay, Morgana enough with your ploys. Let's enter." Aaron spoke with a stern expression.

"Lucas let's enter first," Morgana whispered and pulled Lucas into the dungeon.

Aaron shook his head seeing Morgan's childish behavior while walking toward the portal.

However, as he took a step forward, he was unable to enter.

Aaron frowned and tried to push it but he wasn't able to enter it.

"Captain, what happened? Why are you not entering?" Angus spoke, seeing Aaron standing quietly.

Aaron was about to answer but before he could do that, the portal turned red with flickers of bluish lightning followed by a loud eruption of mana forcing Aaron to take a step back.

"Shit!! It's a closed dungeon." Aaron cursed.

"Captain, what should we do now?"

"What can we do, we just have to keep faith in them."

"Fortunately both Lucas and Morgana went inside."

.......

On the other side as soon as Lucas and Morgana emerged Lucas started to sniff the fresh air that lingered in the atmosphere but he was scared by Morgana's loud shout.

"Lucasssss!"

"Big Sis, what happened?" Lucas spoke hurriedly and looked back to see a mana eruption from the portal and the bluish color became red.

"We are stuck for now," Morgana muttered.

"It's still better than dungeon dislocation. In that case, we might be in real trouble." Lucas spoke with a bitter smile.

Lucas's words calmed her down a little.

"We should try to preserve our strengths and shouldn't be hasty as who knows for how many days we are going to be stuck," Morgana advised Lucas.

As Lucas and Morgana walked inside the dungeon.

The light gleamed brightly. In the blink of an eye, the surrounding changed completely and now they were standing amid the dried desert.

Thump! Thump! Thump

After walking for a while, Lucas could finally see huge bodies of monsters getting closer.

"It's time to get started."

Morgana would provide the backup while Lucas took on the front.

Lucas lunged forward pulling out his newly brought B-ranked sword and slashed at the monsters.

Some E-ranked snakelites bear their fangs on Lucas, trying to bite him down.

Swish!Swish!

Lucas jumped on the head and drilled his sword straight into it and then kicking it he jumped back.

A snakebite pounced on him but Lucas just slid down on the sand while thrusting his sword at the snakelite's lower portion and cutting it open.

Blood gushed out from it followed by a sweet chime.

[You have gained 50,000 experience points]

"Experience points."

Lucas's eyes almost became teary as he saw the notification. He couldn't even remember when was the last time he saw this after his system betrayed him by not giving him experience points for defeating his opponents.

While Lucas started to take on two snakelites head-on, one of them sneaked into the sand and used its tail like a whip to hit Lucas.

BOOM!

However, its tail was shot down by a spell that destroyed its tail and ignited its body.

Lucas looked back to see Morgana giving him a wink.

"Thanks, Big Sis," Lucas muttered and slashed wind blades at them cutting their head with a swift motion.

[You have gained 50,000 experience points.]

[You have gained 50,000 experience points]

"Haaaaaaa! It's quite refreshing." Lucas muttered as his feet landed on the ground.

As he landed on the ground, he sensed a presence nearby but he couldn't spot a single monster.

It was then the ground undulated violently a couple of times before the earth suddenly rose.

"Keukkkkk!!

At the same time, three sandworms emerged from the ground with sharp steel teeth that were protruding outward.

The ground started to crack and they scrambled among themselves as they threw their sharp maws at Lucas.

Lucas was startled by their sudden appearance and raised his sword to defend.

CLANK!

Their sharp teeth clenched Lucas's sword tightly making it difficult for Lucas to pull it back.

Lucas clenched his fist and hit the sandworm whose body instead of bursting out due to the punch started to wriggle up and slimy liquid seemed to attack Lucas's skin.

" Awek!"Lucas grumbled and saw the other two sandworms pouncing on him and he jumped up throwing fireballs in their mouths.

BOOM!BOOM!

With the small explosion, fire burst out from their maw, and taking the chance, Lucas made an ice lance and pierced the sandworm wiithout any mercy.

"Kuk!"

"Kukk!

With a loud grasp, violet liquid spurted out from the skin and made its steel teeth lose a little and Lucas used this chance to withdraw his sword and thrust it into its mouth and threw a big fireball in its mouth, and blasted the whole sandworm.

Lucas killed the sand worms and looked back with a grievous look and shouted" Big Sis Morgana why didn't you help me."

"If I reacted a little late, I was going to get a ticket to the Netherland," Lucas said.

But his words halted as he saw the corpses of six sandworms lying on the ground while a figure emerged behind them being drenched in a violet liquid.

"What did you say?" Morgana asked with a pout.

Seeing Morgana, Lucas was unable to hold in his laughter.

"Stop laughing or this Big sis gonna teach you a lesson," Morgana spoke gritting his teeth.
