Chapter 367: Black Iron Feathered Lightning Eagle! - Part 2

Chapter 367: Black Iron Feathered Lightning Eagle! - Part 2

The Eagle seemed to sense the danger, and therefore, its huge body quickly dodged to the side, but Alex was standing too close.

Roar!

Bang!

The huge force made the huge Thunder Eagle take a few steps back just as she stood up. The black wings on its back flapped suddenly and flew up, quickly maintaining its balance.

Alex stared fixedly and immediately said, "Whose puny now, Bitch!"

Screeech!!!

In response to Alex's provocation, the lightning Eagle opened its beak and roared. But that was not all that happened, as the eagle screeched, lightning elements gathered in the Demon Beast's mouth, turning into a highly condensed lightning ball.

Alex's heart throbbed and the hair on the back of his neck stood erect the feeling of danger had suddenly erupted from the depths of his heart. Alex immediately abandoned the thought of pursuing the Eagle and giving it another kick to her thick head. He swiftly moved to his right to dodge the incoming beam of lightning.

Rumble!!!

Alex looked wide open at the huge deep hole that the lightning beam had created inside the hard rock behind him. Should five or six more of such high-intensity lighting attacks be to fall at the same place again and again then Alex was sure there will be another tunnel, leading to the outside other than the original one.

Alex did not hesitate to move to the right side of the eagle. He aimed at its right-wing, which was nearly two meters long, and threw a punch at it with the full strength of his arm.

Roar!

But the eagle's body dodged like a flexible cat.

At this moment, a sharp claw with an azure glow slashed across Alex's chest.

It was a powerful innate skill of a Rank 4 Black Lightning Eagle, the Explosive Claw. It could easily tear apart the defense of weaker Rank 3 Demon Beasts and cause serious damage. Even his bronze body might not be able to defend fully against the strike.

Alex too used his movement skill and zapped to the left to move out of the way. Alex's speed was already very fast due to his movement skill and body strength but with the addition of the lightning element coursing through his body, his speed increased by 3 times.

The Lightning Eagle also reacted extremely quickly.

After failing the first move, the left-wing of its body suddenly moved.

Crackle!

This time, Alex was barely able to put his hands across his chest to defend against the lightning-fast strike of the Black Eagle.

Bang!

With a bang, Alex's body hit the wall behind and embedded itself like a nail. Blood leaked out from the corner of his mouth.     &nb

One could imagine how powerful the strength of this Lightning Eagle was.

The black eagle coldly looked at Alex but surprisingly she didn't attack any further. Instead, She tucked in her wings and ran towards the exit with the help of her two clawed legs.

The terrain of the cave had a huge constraint on the movement of this bird-type Demon Beast.

Alex also knew this and he didn't want to let her out but by the time he pulled himself out of the wall, she had already rushed out.

"Ah, Dammit!" Alex quickly followed behind.

By the time, Alex had rushed out of the cave, the eagle had already taken flight with the flap of her wings. The lightning Eagle turned and coldly looked at the human that had intruded her home and disturbed her rest.

Alex's eyes narrowed as he immediately started thinking of ways to make her come down. He had to get rid of her aerial advantage or else he would never be able to hurt the Demon Beast let alone capture it.

A bow suddenly appeared in Alex's hand and a quiver full of arrows on his shoulder.

He immediately started rapidly firing them at the Lightning Eagle one after another.

Clang! Cla-Clang! Clang!

The arrows were fast and precise but they couldn't breach the hard iron feathers of the Lighting Eagle. Only a few white marks were left wherever the arrows hit on the Eagle's body. But that had irritated the Demon Beast more than enough.

Just as the Eagle was about to turn and eradicate the human, she felt a strong sense of threat from one of the arrows.

Puchi!

Suddenly an arrow lodged itself between the joints of the Lightning eagle's wings and shoulders.

Screeech! The lightning eagle screeched in pain before streaks after streaks of Lightning bolts erupted out from her body, disintegrating the arrow and destroying numerous trees on the grounds. The violent bombardment of the lightning bolts started a fire on the mountain.

Alex had to stop firing any more arrows and had to run under the cover of the cave for safety.

But the moment, the eagle stopped discharging electricity from its body, Alex once again came out of the cover and fired another volley against the flying target in the air.

But the Lighting Eagle who had already been fooled once wouldn't take on the incoming arrows with her body.

Immediately after, a violent storm accompanied by the wings of the lightning Eagle blew.

Trees bent sideways due to the force generated by the storm while the shrubs were almost flattened to the ground. The fire that was ignited due to the previous attacks was almost extinguished in the surrounding area.

The arr

ows obviously failed to reach anywhere near the Eagle this time.

Screech!

The Black Thunder Eagle let out another furious screech and flapped its wings as it swooped down on Alex.

"Not good!" Alex thought as he ran the lightning Qi in his body to the max.
