Kyle kept a straight face and shook his head lightly. “I don’t have any plan to destroy the world for the time being.”

General Ryan’s lips twitched as he really wanted to take out a stick and smack this shameless brat in front of him.

Did he have to say ‘for the time being?’

Does he want to say that he might have such plan in the future?

Taking a deep breath, General Ryan looked at Kate beside Kyle. “So, it’s the transformation ability that allowed the cat and human’s form to fuse perfectly?”

“You already know.” Kate looked at General Ryan with a bitter smile.

She thought that she had hidden everything perfectly. But reality told her that there were a lot of smart people around her. They would definitely be able to tell should there be something wrong with her.

Or even guessed what had happened.

“There are two others of similar case overseas. I see their report around two to three weeks ago, so I can guess more or less about what had happened.” General Ryan glanced at Kyle. “The research world will be happier if you can tell more the experience of the blood contract with those of the transformation ability.”

.....

It was no longer a secret that there were people with transformation abilities. The moment they made contact with any kind of animals during the time of the red rain, their transformation abilities would be triggered.

It allowed them to fuse together with the animal, occupying the animals’ form that was completely different from theirs.

But the exact details were still unknown.

After all, it was just a theory and there was no one who could say for sure that it truly happened. They didn’t even know whether there will be the third red rain and tried to implement their theories.

Thus, it was just their conjecture.

But what attracted the interest of these researchers were mostly about these special case abilities. Each and every one of them grew up very quickly and could absorb the power well.

General Ryan estimated that there might even be some discussion about this matter in the future.

After all, there was one in front of him.

And she even reached rank 7 in healing ability…

That was definitely categorized as the highest rank. Even if she were to compare with those awakened from overseas and other nation, General Ryan had the confidence to say that she could be the highest ranked.

But anyway, no nation would be stupid enough to truly show off their trump card.

Especially in this mess where many giant mutated animals still roamed around and disrupted their lives.

“There’s not much to tell.” Kyle arched his eyebrows, clearly unwilling to cooperate.

General Ryan was still keeping his composure as he sneered. “Whatever you said, you brat. Go and have some rest. I heard that everyone in your group is seriously injured when you departed.”

This time, Kyle looked at General Ryan with narrowed eyes. “There shouldn’t be anyone who would report to you.”

“Satellite images.” General Ryan rolled his eyes. “How do you think I can share the news about the incident so widely if there’s no recording whatsoever?”

City H is completely destroyed, so any recording from within the city was estimated to be buried and would never come to light. But there were still satellite images that could be used. During the incident, there was a video recording from the space that clearly recorded everything.

Kyle’s face darkened. “With such high technology, you’re still being suppressed?”

“Hey, I have no interest in participating in the political struggle.” General Ryan raised his hands. “But I still need to pay attention if I want to stay alive. After all, I’m not here by myself and there are a lot of people under me.”

After a few moments, Kyle nodded. “I see.”

“So, what’s your plan now, brat?”

“If City E accept us, stay here. If not, we’re going out.” Kyle was still holding Kate’s hand tightly. He didn’t want to be anywhere without Kate, so this was the only option in his mind.

General Ryan arched his eyebrows when he saw their action. He could guess that his son had already made his move and probably have the young lady’s approval.

He silently cursed his son’s shamelessness in his mind.

But then again, this trait might be inherited.

“I see, then I need to change my way to address her now?” General Ryan arched his eyebrows, sneering at his shameless son.

Kyle smirked. “She’s your future daughter in law.”

Kate nearly choked on the air when she heard what Kyle said. Her face burned in embarrassment while her other hand pinched Kyle’s hand. Did he have to be so blunt in front of his father?

They had only confirmed their relationship recently, ok?

Does she need to change her address when facing with his father now?

General Ryan saw Kate’s reddened face and rolled his eyes inside his mind. It was confirmed that his son would never let this young woman get away in his entire life. This made him wondered just where did this damn brat got this strange trait.

He never taught Kyle to be like this when the latter was young.

General Ryan sighed and then looked at Kate. “In that case, do you want to stay behind to have dinner first? I think that this is the first time we’ll have dinner as father in law and daughter in law.”

Hearing General Ryan’s words, Kate felt a bit embarrassed that her cheek reddened. “Uncle Ryan, if you don’t mind us, then we’ll eat in your place.”

Kyle rolled his eyes. “If you don’t want to, you don’t have to force yourself to accept this shameless old man’s invitation.”

“I’m still your father, Kyle!”

“I know.” Kyle looked at his father. “That’s why I’m still sitting here and not just leave directly.” 𝐟re𝐞w𝐞𝒃𝓃𝒐𝐯𝚎𝒍.c૦𝚖

General Ryan rubbed his temple. He felt that Kyle was specifically sent to anger him. But he knew that Kyle was dissatisfied because he would be taking their time together with the dinner.

Forget it.

He always knew that his son is very annoying.
