Chapter 1 The Goddess Of Envy Is Stunned!
Victor always felt the unfairness of this world, in high school he strived to do well and then to go to a prestigious university, and yet all his efforts failed him.
Instead of studying hard, he joined a group that bullied different students, went to parties, and in general ignored the world around him, just having fun at full throttle.
When he came to his senses, it was too late, exams were coming, and at that moment Victor realized that he could forget about the prestigious university.
Like the rest of the company, Victor scored below average, which was not even close to what he needed to get to an average university, his barely passing score could be considered a complete failure.
To fix his character, Victor's parents sent him to study to become a chef, but even so his studies did not last long, after two years the classes became boring, and soon he quit university altogether and enrolled into the army.
Finally after being honorably discharged from the army he seemed to find his calling and started writing web novels, at first everything was going well, his novels were getting hundreds of thousands of hits, but it didn't last long. Soon people got bored and his novel was read less and less.
In desperation, he stopped writing and focused on finding work, because his parents had long since stopped giving him money and novels didn't bring him enough anymore. As a result of which he accidentally stumbled upon gambling.
As if feeling deja vu, Victor felt that betting was what he was born to do. In one month he earned more than $10,000, and soon it became a stable income for him. Business seemed to be picking up, his parents stopped avoiding him, and he even developed a relationship.
Of course, he didn't tell them exactly how he made all this money, mentioning that it was just an online job. It seemed as if fortune lived alongside him, and even after a few years, he was able to earn enough to live on comfortably. f𝑟e𝒆𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗oѵ𝐞𝗹.c૦𝑚
But at some point Victor felt that it was not enough, he was already 22 years old and had only a small apartment to his name, as a result, he decided to take a risk and not stick to small sums anymore. He gambled by betting on high odds.
Soon after, he realized what a fool he had been, because after losing all his savings, he still couldn't understand how it had happened?
From that moment on, fortune turned away from him and life seemed to return back to how it was long ago. In an attempt to win back what he lost, he began borrowing more and more money from his parents, losing daily until at one point they found out about it.
But it was too late, Victor was already an inveterate gambler, his addiction to gambling couldn't be satiated, his parents tried to stop him but it was too late, as a result like before, they completely broke off relations with him, ignoring his existence.
After losing the last thing he had, Victor knew it was the end, the end of his life. Drunk as a skunk afterwards, when he returned to the small room of his apartment he looked in the mirror at his shabby appearance.
"You're a loser!" That's what the reflection was telling Victor.
"I wanted to be successful! To be rich! I just want to have a fulfilling life!"
It was rather strange to see him talking to himself while staring intently in the mirror. If anyone saw him like that, they would think that the man had lost his mind. After all, he kept repeating the same thing over and over again.
Victor didn't care if the neighbors or anyone else for that matter, heard him, this was his room, the only place where he no longer had to hide behind a fake smile, condemning his worthless life.
"I just want to be successful!"
Victor kept saying the same thing; he believed he had found a way to relieve some stress by repeating these words.
He knew no one was listening to his pleas, so he was honest with his reflection.
Fshuh!
Suddenly an inexplicable phenomenon occurred before his eyes, the room suddenly filled with a bright glow and a small emerald-colored card appeared before his eyes.
It didn't end there at all, suddenly a soft female voice was heard in his ears that seemed to make his heart flutter again.
[ The Goddess of Envy is stunned by your stubbornness! ]
[ Your heart is filled with unfathomable envy and striving to the top, the Gods could only sigh while looking at your life, as a result you are given a special skill! ]
"Am I hallucinating?" Victor grinned, thinking that became a crazy person.
After the initial shock, he decided that now it must finally be over, already imagining how tomorrow he would be sent to the psychiatric hospital for help.
And yet, the woman's voice still continued to resound in his head.
[ Map creation in progress ]
The emerald card, which was blessed with a bright luster suddenly stopped shining and fell on his right hand, reflexively Victor grabbed it.

Victor blinked several times while looking at the map on his hand. He couldn't believe it was real.
"If this isn't a dream!" Swallowing heavily, Victor reached into the kitchen and grabbed a knife.
"If it works, I'll be back on the last day of high school..." He couldn't even imagine what he would do if it really worked.
Despite the fact that Victor was a complete gambling addict, it's not like he had no other hobbies. He still liked to read various science books.
Over time, it became his second addiction; he could have easily passed his high school exams and gotten into a prestigious university, and later become a successful man.
Gulp!
"Victor you can do it, you've got nothing to lose anyway!"
My breath hitched and my hands trembled slightly with excitement, as if from a gamble that could either result in big money or would leave him with nothing, even without his own life.
"I don't want to live like this any longer, I'd rather get it over with!"
With these thoughts in mind, Victor swung the knife at his neck and then stabbed sharply.
"Ugh!"
It was quite painful, but Victor gritted his teeth hard, he felt the knife fall out of his hands while a numbness passed over his entire body, his vision began to blur and soon went out altogether.
