Chapter 86 - Happy Birthday, Baby

Chapter 86 - Happy Birthday, Baby

On the first day of summer vacation, Ji Liao slept until he woke naturally and stretched comfortably.

It was great to not have to go to school!

He got out of bed to wash up. While brushing his teeth, he tapped on his phone to start a video call with He Cheng Ming.

Right then, He Cheng Ming was already exercising in the gym. The first reason was to exercise his left arm which had been bound for over a month. The second reason was to fulfil Ji Liao’s wish.

His baby looked mild but he was actually quite demanding. So taking advantage of the vacation, he had to quickly train his abdominal muscles to avoid making the little guy unhappy when he touched him.

Ji Liao looked at the boy stretching his arm muscles and stopped brushing his teeth. With a mouthful of foam, he said, “Are you exercising? You got up so early.”

He Cheng Ming did not have the habit of lazing around in bed. Zhao Mei Lan had been strict with him since he was a child. When it was time, he had to get up and it had become a habit after so many years.

He was wearing a racer-back singlet which showed the muscles of his arms to be evidently well-proportioned. Ji Liao’s mouth filled with saliva and he forgot to spit it out. His gaze moved along the boy’s substantial shoulders and landed on his distinct clavicle. He watched as sweat slid down his neck and fell, his gaze seeming to sweep over him for another round. Ji Liao stared unblinkingly and he swallowed unconsciously, as a result swallowing the mouthwash.

He Cheng Ming groaned out a laugh, his voice low and rough. Coupled with his beautiful body and flexing motion, it seemed like a fatal attraction. At once, Ji Liao felt his thing awaken and said with a flushed face, “I’ll talk to you later.”

Quickly turning off his phone, he covered his little heart, looked at his tenting crotch and closed the bathroom door shamefully.

After He Cheng Ming finished his last move, he got up to grab his phone and sent a mischievous message to Ji Liao: Baby, are you hard?

Ji Liao didn’t have time to reply to him now. He was very busy and eager!

He Cheng Ming was greatly encouraged and ran towards the gym. After half a month, the results began to show.

He looked at himself in the mirror, his tall and straight figure and the distinct textured layer of his abdomen. He wasn’t too buff but at the same time, had a well-shaped body. He clicked his tongue and with some calculations, realised that Ji Liao’s birthday was coming.

The day before his birthday, He Cheng Ming had gone to the Meng family house for dinner, made Xu Ai Wen happy, then took Ji Liao out for a movie that night.

There were many people at the cinema and He Cheng Ming queued up to buy tickets. He also ordered a popcorn and iced cola set with only one straw to share with Ji Liao.

The two of them went into the screening hall holding hands. After sitting down, they realised that the movie was very popular and the place was almost full. Fortunately, he had resourcefully bought four extra tickets, blocking the path of any bad characters.

Before the movie started, Ji Liao hugged the popcorn and ate happily. He was thirsty for a drink of cola but found it in the hands of the other boy. With a meaningful look from him, He Cheng Ming obediently moved it in front of him.

With a lack of awareness, Ji Liao sucked on the straw, then heard a girl’s keening sound from behind him. This feeling of deja vu reminded him of…

Xu Xiao Jing.

He had eventually learned that Xu Xiao Jing was a fujoshi. No wonder every time she saw He Cheng Ming coming to look for him, she was happier than him.

Ji Liao quietly put the popcorn down and He Cheng Ming smoothly handed him the cola &#k2014; the unfailing character of the considerate boyfriend.

The screening hall soon darkened and the movie finally started. It was a comedy and Ji Liao laughed several times until He Cheng Ming couldn’t help looking at him. He felt very happy and pulled the other boy’s hand over, clasping his fingers tightly.

Ji Liao tilted his head and asked softly, “What’s the matter?”

He Cheng Ming wanted to say that his laughter sounded so good that instead of watching the movie, he wanted to watch him instead!

But Ji Liao’s attention wasn’t on him at all. After asking, he just turned his head back to the screen, watching in foolish happiness with a simple-minded appearance.

It was very dark in the cinema and the subtle light from the screen spilt onto the other boy’s face, making Ji Liao’s pupils bright and his eyelashes long.

He Cheng Ming had thought over countless times as to why he liked the youth beside him.

Because of his slim waist? Or his straight legs? Or was it his perky bottom the first time he saw him?

He clearly remembered that summer day when he was captivated by the back of the other person. He thought that it was a girl until he had called out, “Dad.” The clear, youthful voice passed through his eardrums causing a limp and numb feeling to spread all over his body.

Then, Ji Liao turned his head. The glaring light from the sun that day couldn’t block his bright smile. His eyes were like crystals making him so dazzled that he had trouble breathing and his blood seemed to flow in the opposite direction. At that time, the only word he could think of was “innocent” but the person wasn’t a girl. He would quickly run to Ji Qing Wen and energetically help him with his afternoon’s work, stirring the cement forcefully. When he was tired, he would sit casually on the ground to rest and fan himself with a straw hat.

Positive, cheerful, lively. Such a boy was more impactful than a soft girl and had slammed his way into his heart instantly.

Later on, he realised that Ji Liao had the freedom he longed for and the happiness he couldn’t have. As long as he looked at the boy, some sunlight seemed to shine into his gloomy heart. That feeling of being wrapped in warmth was a comfort that He Cheng Ming had never enjoyed.

He finally came back to the present when the movie ended.

Ji Liao’s hands were held tightly by him. His palms were sweating, so Ji Liao pulled his hand back a little disgusted.

He Cheng Ming smiled and said nothing. He put his arm around his shoulder and they went out.

Ji Liao talked excitedly about the comedy they had just watched. Seeing the person beside him not reacting at all, he couldn’t help asking, “Were you watching earlier or not?!”

He Cheng Ming said honestly, “No, I wasn’t interested in the subject.”

Ji Liao turned to shoot him a glance with a strange look in his eye. “Then why did you buy the tickets?”

He Cheng Ming pinched his face and said fondly, “As long as you like it.”

This way, even if he didn’t like it, he would feel happy accompanying the other boy to watch it. The lost time wasn’t a waste but well worth it.

Although he had heard the other boy’s sweet words many times, he was still touched each time. He felt a sweetness in his heart and asked softly, “Want a sweet?”

He Cheng Ming: “!!!”

If he didn’t take him up on that, he wasn’t a man!

He immediately inspected their surroundings for a hidden spot. But after scanning the area, he found that the business centre was full of people which made him angry.

Ji Liao watched his anxious behaviour and a smile as bright as a small sun appeared on his face while the thumping in his heart gradually increased.

He didn’t know if the boy remembered that tomorrow was his birthday. Unconsciously, he touched his pocket where he had put his ID card.

“Why don’t we go out first?” Ji Liao suggested. After all, it was a business centre, a place where you would have to queue even for the toilet.

He Cheng Ming felt like his throat was on fire. Gripping the back of the other boy’s head, he kissed him without any regard and instantly attracted cheers from the surrounding passersby. There were even people who took out their phones to take a photo…

He Cheng Ming frowned and with his arms around Ji Liao, they strode out.

The electronic time report of the square sounded: It’s now 22:00 exactly, Beijing time.

Normally at this time, Ji Liao should be going home. If he didn’t go back soon, Xu Ai Wen would call to urge him.

However, neither of them spoke. He Cheng Ming had selfish motives. He hoped that he could accompany the boy on his special day but was worried to put Ji Liao in a difficult position, so kept his lips sealed.

Ji Liao touched the ID card in his pocket and his heart beat violently. Licking his lips uneasily, his fingers slowly climbed the palm of the person next to him.

He Cheng Ming grasped him in return, turned to his side and with dark eyes, asked tentatively, “Don’t go back tonight, okay?”

His tone was not enticing in the least bit and neither did he soften his voice to ask in a cute manner. Instead, he was unexpectedly serious and it seemed like as long as Ji Liao said yes, they would be bound in this lifetime.

“Okay, I even have my ID card with me.” Ji Liao’s eyes were bright and focused on the person in front of him.

That look made He Cheng Ming’s throat tighten and he felt like if he later died on the boy’s body, he would be perfectly willing to do so.

He pulled him into his arms and they hurried across to the hotel.

Ji Liao was very nervous, his heart feeling like it might break out of its chamber.

He Cheng Ming crossed the street and first, went to the supermarket next door to buy lubricant and several other things that Ji Liao didn’t understand.

After registering at the front desk, they went directly to the hotel elevator.

They were silent and patient all the way. After opening the door, their little universe exploded instantly.

Ji Liao was pressed against the back of the door and kissed deeply, while he opened his mouth to bear the storm from the other boy.

Ji Liao whimpered and tears fell from the corners of his eyes.

He Cheng Ming licked away his tears with heartache and comforted him gently, “Don’t cry. If you continue crying, I’ll be hard again.”

With that pitiful appearance, he could stay hard for the entire day!

He Cheng Ming picked up his phone and glanced at it. It was already past midnight. He stroked Ji Liao’s face with his slender fingers and whispered, “Happy birthday, baby.”

Ji Liao sniffled and pulled his head out from under his embrace, then held out his hand, saying, “Then where’s my birthday present?!” His voice was hoarse and low, with a sobbing tone of grievance.

He Cheng Ming’s lower body quickly recovered, and he was unable to recall anything about where he put the present. He immediately pacified him by saying, “I’ll give it to you tomorrow. Can we do it again?!”

Ji Liao wanted to run but was caught and taught a profound lesson.

It was an endless night and they enjoyed happily without any thoughts of the future.

The next day, Ji Liao woke up and found that his eyes were swollen and his throat dry like a piece of metal.

He Cheng Ming had already gotten up and was sitting beside him, eyeing him with his head tilted. With a sated look on his face, he said attentively, “Are you thirsty? Do you want some water?!”

Ji Liao opened his mouth and finding that he couldn’t make a sound, just nodded his head.

He propped up his body and instantly took a breath of cold air. Why was his waist aching so much?! His behind was burning as well and it was killing him.

“Don’t move. Lie down a little longer.” He Cheng Ming felt guilty and knew that he had gone overboard, so he quickly offered some warm water.

Ji Liao didn’t even have the strength to scold him and gulped the water down before feeling a little more comfortable.

His mind automatically replayed the madness of last night and he took a quick look at his body. Except for some areas, he confirmed that there were no other marks and let out a sigh of relief.

It would be disastrous if he were to go back and his mother could see through him!

Right then, Ji Liao thought of Xu Ai Wen and quickly checked his phone. Unexpectedly, there were no missed calls!
