Chapter 688: The Strongest Creature - Fenrir The God Slaying Wolf!
A black-furred wolf jumped through the open-cracked ground and immediately darkened the sky with its pitch-black fur. The wolf was as big as the tallest mountain, as long as the most populated city, and powerful enough to make even gods feel fear.
"What the hell is this beast?" Garmagello staggered backward as the wolf's paw was only ten meters away, but it looked like it was right in front of him. Even when bending his head backward, he couldn't see the head of the enormous wolf.
This was the first time he had felt this small.
Arthur and the gods felt stunned and couldn't comprehend the wolf's enormous height.
"We should leave." Loki slowly backed off from the enormous wolf. "Right now, unless you want to die."
"What about the demons?" Arthur asked as he slowly backed off from the wolf.
"This big boy loves the taste of demons." Loki said with a twitch of his lip. "That's how he's been "programmed" since his birth."
'Programmer?' Arthur looked at him strangely and quickly followed Loki with the gods in tow. They left without being noticed by demons.
They left through a valley and gathered at the foot of a mountain, which was still small enough to hide the enormous wolf, whose head was above the clouds.
"What did you mean by programming?" Arthur asked while they were hiding behind the mountain.
"Fenrir, has been programmed to fight demons." Loki said. "He was born as the result of an experiment, commenced by the primordial gods. They were desperate to find a way to ensure that demons wouldn't win. So, they experimented with different mutated creatures who were tainted by the Spawn Dimension.
"There was only one successful experiment and that was Black Wolf, Fenrir."
Loki sighed as he remembered the small pup Fenrir, who was actually his pet, but was taken away by Odin for that experiment.
"They "programmed" his mind to be only solely focused on destroying demons, no matter the cost. A year before White Online was released, they sent Fenrir here."
"Wait... you mean Fenrir has been here for several years and left unnoticed?!" Arthur was stunned because there was no way someone like Fenrir could stay unnoticed for even a day!
"Yes, but underground." Loki pointed at the ground. "The reason why I was sent here is because I am the only one who can control Fenrir. The Gods say that it was because I had a connection with him before he became... a creature of destruction."
"How strong... Fenrir is actually?" Arthur asked and felt cold sweat drenching his back.
"Strong... is not a word that can be used on him. He is beyond strong." Loki looked at the dark sky. "He is "Strongest Creature" and by a wide margin. Even the World Destroying Dragon, Drakelion, is only a mere dust in front of him."
Arthur and the other gods gulped. They were only few kilometers away from Fenrir and debated whether that distance was big enough...
...
Garmagello flinched under the enormous pressure. He hadn't ever felt this kind of pressure before, not even from Demon Kings who were like gods to him.
"God damn it, he is just a fucking dog!" He screeched and stretched his hand towards Fenrir's black-furred body. "Pull!"
Garmagello's ability, Gravity, allows him to pull and push things away from him.
The gravity pull grabbed Fenrir's fur, like an invisible hand, and started yanking the massive wolf towards the ground!
At last, Fenrir's massive pupil above the clouds turned towards the ground as its enormous body was falling to the side.
"Grr..." A single growl brought goosebumps to everyone's skin. Fenrir stabilized itself by placing the paw deeper into the ground, which caused a shockwave that forced the demons off their feet.
Even Garmagello had difficulty staying standing.
Fenrir clawed the ground, causing kilometer long crevices in the middle of the snow valley. The snow blew as the strong wind breezes assaulted the land.
Fenrir slowly opened its mouth, revealing two massive fangs. Then... a loud roar escaped its mouth.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAWR!"
CRACK!
The ground cracked and a massive kilometer-wide crater appeared because of the single roar.
The demon army was crushed like pancakes—their crimson blood fading away by the wind.
Garmagello coughed up blood as he crashed to the ground while feeling like the entire universe was crashing onto him.
'This is ridiculous!' He cried out while coughing blood constantly.
Fenrir slowly raised its enormous two-kilometer-wide paw and smashed it down at Garmagello.
CRACK!
The ground exploded as the paw struck the ground—right where Garmagello was.
Fenrir added more weight to its palm and stood still. However, then its paw was slowly being lifted by invisible power!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Garmagello screamed while he looked haggard with his entire body stained in crimson blood. He was using his gravity push to its limit and managed to lift Fenrir's paw enough to escape!
He quickly jumped out of the way before the paw fell back to the ground.
As the paw fell back to the ground, the ground exploded and sent a powerful enough shockwave to send Garmagello flying away.
'This is ridiculous! I need to inform the Demon Kings, so we can work together to slay this beast!' He thought anxiously before crashing back to the ground. He had never suffered this much damage before.
When he arrived in the World of White with his half-avatar, he thought killing all the gods would be a piece of cake since he had already put up a good fight with only his weak half-avatar. But they proved to be more difficult to kill, and now some giant creature appeared, who was perhaps the strongest creature he'd ever seen!
Garmagello climbed painfully back to his feet and decided to escape. However, then he felt like he was being stared by god.
Fenrir's enormous head descended from the sky as it bended its back. Its enormous vertical pupil looked straight at Garmagello. The eye alone was bigger than some ordinary mountain!
"T-This..." Garmagello gulped and heard Fenrir growling. As the enormous beast exhaled, the wind sent Garmagello crashing through a mountain.
Then, Fenrir again opened its mouth and an enormous blue light appeared at the depths of its throat...
Fenrir was about to unleash its attack.
