Chapter 33: Infinite Energy (1)
【Cosmic Cube】: The energy developed using the cube of the universe can supply tanks and guns with amazing and powerful destructive power. This is the concept of unlimited energy.
“Blue Product Card.”
“Do you want to extract it?”
That was the message displayed in front of the cube emitting blue rays of light.
“My God..” Kyle’s face displayed utter shock and astonishment. His usual composure was broken just like that. He never thought he’d come face to face with one of the divine objects of Marvel so soon.
The Cosmic Cube! The divine object first appeared on Earth as the container for the Space Gem. The Space Gem, one of the six infinity gems is also a cosmic artifact.
“So this is it. During World War II, HYDRA found the Cosmic Cube and used it to produce endless energy for war.”
Kyle looked at the cube of energy placed in front of his eyes and broke into a cold sweat at the thought of American troops facing something like this.
So far, the energy had not been put to use in the frontlines of the war. It’s clear the Germans only recently learned how to manufacture it.
If nobody was informed, the German Army would have destroyed the frontlines in Europe with the help of these new energy gains.
But now it just so happened that he obtained the cube so easily.
Kyle excitedly picked up the Cosmic Cube. It was a blue product card, simply the best material for sacrifice extraction!
“Why are there more than twenty pieces in this?”
Just as Kyle was about to start extracting the card, there was a slight sound behind him. His expression dropped, and before he could react, he felt cold metal pressed against the back of his head.
“Don’t move or I’ll blow your head off.” The man behind him said in German. It was apparent the cold metal was that of a gun due to its mechanical sound.
Careless!
Kyle tensed his body as he sighed in his heart. Aside from failing to detect the presence of a person inside the basement, he even let his guard down while examining the cards!
“Put back the thing in your hand and raise them above your head,” The man continued to speak in a strong, commanding tone.
“Don’t shoot.” As Kyle spoke, he put the cube back into the box and raised his hands.
In the face of death, Kyle was calmly thinking about how to deal with the situation.
The easiest way was to use Stealth to teleport out of the base, but that was the last resort.
“Very well. I didn’t expect you to speak German. You really are an American rat that can sneak into my base, huh?” The man said in a cold voice, revealing that he had no intention to shoot him immediately, thus eliminating the need to teleport out of the base.
“What is your intention of sneaking in here?” The man continued to question; however, this time, Kyle did not answer him.
“Oh, I have other ways to get you to talk.” The man snorted coldly, the pistol held against the back of Kyle’s head. He pulled a walkie-talkie out of his pocket. “Hello, this is Officer Leo. Send soldiers to the basement of Warehouse II. There’s a rat from the Americans here.”
