Chapter 23 - Villain Syndicates
Chapter 23 - 23 - Villain Syndicates
"S-Sir!?" The CEO of one of the subsidiary companies under the Blac Corporation rushed toward Cruxius after seeing him punch the dean of the hospital.
Considering the presence of so many individuals—even with Cruxius holding such a powerful position—this could spark rumors.

Some were even recording, which might paint him as an evil man.
However, the real issue was that the dean had done the CEO a few favors in the past. Nothing major, but enough for him to instinctively stretch out a hand, hoping to shield the man from harm.
"His son tried to poison the heir of the Blac family, and he was offering money to silence the case... and you're taking his side?" Cruxius snapped.
The people recording would likely throw this on social media, turning him into a 'rich, spoiled brat' picking on an old man—at least in the eyes of people whose voices held no actual weight.
Just fools behind a screen, vomiting their hatred through their fingers. Not out of courage, not even out of fear—but because they'd made it a habit.
Cry for a day, rage until the trend dies, and then move on to the next.
And this CEO was one of those idiotic people shielding the dean, which clearly meant that he had received some favors from this dean.
Indirectly showing the local influence of Alvian had a real impact here.
It is enough to tie the hands of the CEO of such a big corporation, even if it is just a subsidiary company.
"Is he influential here?" Cruxius leaned in close to his own CEO. He didn't lash out or fire him—not yet.
Even with the overwhelming wealth of the Blac Corporation, local power and connections mattered.
Thinking money alone could solve everything was naive in unfamiliar territory.
A man walking into a new city with bags full of cash would get torn apart by both enemies and fake allies.
Everyone would circle like vultures, ready to feast.
What truly mattered were the hands that held the money.
Otherwise, every lottery winner would be a successful businessman.
"Y-Yes, sir. He has the support of the villain syndicate from Zone 10."
The CEO leaned in and whispered, finally realizing that the young master wasn't unreasonable. Cruxius had only asked the right question.
And the answer? The dean had ties to a powerful villain group.
A single move against him could make enemies of the kind who never forget.
"Oh, Zone 10?"
Cruxius finally spoke after a pause, amused.
It had been a while since he'd heard that name—the villain organization he had personally crushed.
Then again, in the present time, they held real influence and a prestigious reputation among the elites, unlike in the future, where they were manipulated towards distortion by him.
No hand was clean—not politicians, not businessmen. They could've dismantled every Supervillain faction whenever they wanted, but they stayed silent.
Let them grow. Let them sharpen their teeth. Just so they could use them later as hunting dogs against each other.
Being a man of equality, Cruxius saw no difference between Supervillains and Superheroes.
He smashed both of them equally—and here, "smashed" is definitely not meant to imply destroying the organization.... but their kittens.
"You may leave and treat yourself and your son, Mr. Alvian."
Cruxius finally turned his gaze toward the man holding his chest. He waved him off, his tone casual—dismissive.
Darithi still held onto the Jake's wrist, her grip so tight the dried blood beneath the skin had begun turning black.
But at the order, she let go.
"Argh!", Jake winced in pain.
"...Hmph."
Alvian growled, jaw clenched, staring hard at Cruxius before turning to his son.
Jake grabbed his broken hand, writhing in pain, before the doctors and nurses finally moved in to help—along with the dean himself. Both disappeared into the hospital.
The dean's eyes, however, burned with fury as they glanced back.
'I will fucking kill you, bastard!'
Alvian screamed inside, eyes bloodshot from humiliation and pain, consumed with the desire to retaliate against the Blac Corporation—a beast he didn't yet understand.
And even if it's not the black corporation, which was a whale in itself, he can at least kill that whale's tadpole-like child at least.
To him, Cruxius Black was already dead.
---
"Master, should I kill him?"
Darithi stood beside Cruxius, expressionless. One glance at the director's retreating figure had told her enough. She'd sensed the killing intent. And that meant danger to her master. Her words were cold—matter-of-fact.
Cruxius simply gave her a sidelong glance, smirking.
"Why sully our hands with a pig's blood?"
He reached toward her chest pocket and slipped her phone out while pressing against her chest—she didn't flinch, didn't move.
'Soft and squeezy, plump and tight, jiggle with nipples, become hard on bite.....', Cruxius just mumbled as if singing a song as he dialed a number, he added with a quiet chuckle,
"It's fun to watch two pigs fight."

> // Code. //
"X3T7."
The familiar voice of an AI responded, drawing a faint smile from Cruxius.
It reminded him of a woman he had once used, then killed—like any tool that had outlived its purpose.
She had been a supervillain, threatening, clever... and somewhat adorable.
The AI he just heard was also one of her creations, coded to authenticate orders across the 12 Villain Syndicate zones.
Each zone operated independently, but ranked in a hierarchy. Higher zones could command the lower.
> // Code Accepted. Login Detected from Zone 7. //
Cruxius could've used Zone 1's credentials from the start—he had them—but that would've drawn attention. Especially from her.
Better to use a lower-ranking zone for now.
'...Hm, now that I think about it—'
He closed his eyes briefly, a grin forming.
'Override the code. H1T1.'
> // Override Successful. //
'Let's see how you're doing, Lulu.'
He smiled, anticipating the familiar voice of someone from his past.
A woman who once adored him. Someone he had, naturally, killed when he grew bored.
She'd loved him—perhaps too much.
He'd loved her petite body, but love had never been the point.
He wanted to destroy the Villain Syndicate and, naturally, had to use several supervillainesses in his journey.
> // Currently Unavailable. //
"Huh? Really?"
The AI's mechanical response made him raise a brow.
Zone A is unreachable?
Lulu being on break felt... off. She was a machine geek.
The kind who spoke more to computers than humans.
Her being "unavailable" was suspicious.
But then again, he didn't know how she was in the present time, as he met her after being banished from the Blac family, about five years later.
'Fine then. Switch to the previous zone....and announce a bounty on head of....'
