Chapter 591 - 589: AMBASSADOR 4
Diamond chuckled inwardly, seeing the doubtful gazes fixated on her.
She could understand why they were confused and looking at her like that. If she was another celebrity, she would have opted for something expensive. She would even wear a VERTAH gown or outfit to shine.
Unfortunately, her mind was geared differently.
Seeing everyone’s confusion and doubt, she decided to explain further.
"Rather than having the focus fall solely on me, I would rather have all the attention diverted to the foundation. That is why today I will be as simple as I can be," she said with a smile hanging on her lips, explaining her reasoning.
When everyone in the office heard that, a collective sigh sounded.
For a moment, they were worried. However, now that they heard the reason, it sounded reasonable.
Ma Perry nodded her head with a glint of pride in her eyes. At least her daughter knew what was important. Other people would shift all the attention to themselves, forgetting the actual reason why they were doing things.
As a result, the outcome becomes deadly and the purpose of doing such a thing in the first place loses its meaning.
Seeing that her reasoning had somehow managed to convince people, Diamond continued, "Do you have those t-shirts? Bring me a few, my size if you do. I will pick one to wear and wear that to the press conference," a serious expression on her face.
"This ...." The PR lady was astounded. She didn’t expect that the simpleness that the other referred to would end up being that. "Miss, are you sure that’s what you want?" she asked solemnly, hoping that she wasn’t mishearing.
Diamond beamed at the other and nodded solemnly. "I never joke."
With her wearing that t-shirt, the focus would be on the foundation. If she wore one of her clothes, she was certain that those fans of hers would be dissecting the brands and the prices.
There were several fashionistas in her fan groups who were so obsessed with such matters.
Seeing her so adamant, the PR lady and the rest didn’t dissuade her anymore but hurriedly did as she wanted.
Moments later, Diamond picked a white t-shirt written in red. The name of the foundation looked very vivid and hard to miss.
With almost everything settled, and time ticking, the heads of the departments excused themselves, leaving Diamond with her parents.
Thinking that they would accompany her for a while, the two also left shortly after. Duty called, so she could only remain by herself.
There was still more than an hour before the press conference started and that was enough time for her to deal with other things as well.

Meanwhile, outside the foundation building, several vehicles with familiar broadcasting channel names and logos were parking neatly.
Alighting from the cars were men and women, holding cameras, laptops and other things.
"You are also here?"
"Hehe, how can I miss this?"
"Do you have any clue as to who might have snatched this job?"
"I would be smiling brightly if I knew. They kept their mouths shut."
"I have been monitoring all celebrities with fame ever since I received the news, but so far, no one seems to be suspicious."
"Could it be that it’s someone from the outside?"
"Or perhaps out of Frin."
"Would they hire an outsider?"
"It’s all business, as long as it works. Why not?"
The fellow media acquaintances were busy chatting amongst themselves as they headed for the familiar building.
Waiting for them by the door was the PR lady alongside a few people from the department who had experience in hosting such activities.
Upon seeing the familiar faces, the PR lady smilingly greeted them.
"Welcome everyone. I hope that you had a pleasant journey coming all this way."
The media friends beamed at the PR lady and some of them responded.
"Manager Babin, it’s been a while."
"It’s great seeing you again."
"You are looking prettier with each passing day, manager Babin."
"We traveled safe and we hope that the journey this time will be worth it."
The PR lady, manager Babin, smiled at these men and women who were so capable.
Their hands could make or break. They held such power in their hands, voices and the equipment that they held.
However, she wasn’t that afraid of them. After seeing how meek the marketing accounts became after getting exposed by Diamond earlier that year. She became more confident about her boss.
If any of these companies pissed them off, she would just write a report and complain. Her boss would surely deal with the matter.
However, since they were still at peace with each other, offending one another wouldn’t be recommended.
So, with a friendly smile that made those who saw her feel as if they had been bosom friends for decades, she responded to these media friends, her eyes smiling into crescents.
"It’s good that you traveled safely and don’t worry, today’s trip will be worth it," her tone was filled with mystery. Ito will be the ambassador?" sensing that the mystery was related to the ambassador, another reporter asked.
Manager Babin simply smiled but didn’t answer that. She was determined to keep this secret for a while longer.
Diamond was very famous, especially in Frin. When she was in Gesalsi, she continued making headlines. A day won’t pass without several of these people writing something about her.
She was someone who brought traffic every single time her name was mentioned.
So far, her name was still trending online after the stunt that she pulled. Who would have known that she was that talented?
The fact that she wrote a song for her fans and the videos of her live singing went viral if people were to know about today’s matter. She could already guess what would be happening.
When she thought of how millions of people would know about the foundation today, she was excited.
That secret could only be kept. Let these reporters die of excitement later.
That would be fun.
