Chris began explaining slowly.

As he spoke, Logan and the others were left in a daze—especially Professor X, Charles, who was completely dumbfounded.

"Messiah... has both my and Erik's genes?"

His thoughts spiraled into confusion.

Even though his relationship with Erik was quite close, the idea that the two of them had somehow produced a child together left him stunned.

And that child was none other than Messiah—the terrifying super Omega-level mutant who had shocked and awed him so many times!

How could this be?

It took the group a long while before they finally recovered.

"If this is true," Cyclops Scott asked hesitantly, "should we tell Magneto?"

Uhh...

Everyone looked at each other, uncertain.

Professor X's face flushed slightly, and he stammered, "Let's... let's wait. We'll tell Erik after we've investigated it more thoroughly."

Just as he was about to say more, a mutant student burst into the lab, panting as he called out, "Professor, check the latest news!"

Startled, the group turned toward the tablet the student was holding.

On the news feed, a section of a city was shown—buildings collapsing, debris floating in the air.

The terrifying footage stunned them all.

"What's going on?"

"What happened?"

The student hesitated and then said, "It... it seems to be Magneto."

As he spoke, he adjusted the video feed, revealing the figure of Magneto, Erik.

He hovered in midair, ripples of energy surging around him, with an enormous field of floating debris—stones, building fragments, and more—circling him like a storm.

"Magneto did this?"

Staring at the footage, Professor X and the others couldn't believe their eyes.

When did Magneto become this powerful?

He could control so much at once?

Most importantly, they could clearly see that it wasn't just metal he was manipulating. Stones, rubble, entire sections of buildings—all of it hovered in the air under his influence.

How was that possible?

"Wasn't Magneto only able to control metal? How is he manipulating all this?"

They even watched, frame by frame, as an entire building disintegrated and floated upward.

The concrete debris, bricks, and non-metallic materials were also suspended.

As confusion set in, Scott suddenly remembered something.

"Didn't Messiah say earlier that he was going to enhance Magneto's abilities?"

That line snapped everyone to attention. Realization dawned.

"Messiah enhanced Magneto?"

Because of Messiah?

Looking again at the overwhelming force Magneto displayed in the footage, they could hardly believe it.

What kind of power was this?

A mere enhancement from Messiah... and Magneto had become this terrifying?

At that moment—

Looking at Professor X, Scott asked, "What should we do, Professor?"

All eyes turned toward Charles.

He hesitated, then said, "We're going to meet Magneto. I need to speak with him."

Logan and the others nodded in agreement, unsurprised by the decision.

Soon, they arrived at the X-Jet hangar. Jean Grey, Logan, Scott, Hank, Chris, and Professor X all boarded the black X-Jet.

The jet streaked across the sky.

While Logan and the others were en route, the American authorities were also mobilizing.

Teams of agents were dispatched toward Magneto's location.

Satellites locked onto the floating figure of Magneto, feeding live footage to military officials.

The U.S. military and intelligence agencies stared at the images in disbelief.

Soon, a convoy of armored vehicles and field agents arrived at the scene.

On one vehicle, a middle-aged officer lifted a megaphone and shouted, "Magneto! What are you doing?"

"Stand down immediately!"

As he barked the order, the agents and soldiers beside him raised their plastic firearms, discreetly aiming at the figure floating in the sky.

Hovering above, Magneto fixed a cold gaze on them.

Their so-called threats meant nothing to him now.

If it had been before, he might've exercised caution. But after Messiah's enhancement, he had no need to fear them.

Just as he was about to act—

He suddenly sensed something and turned his gaze to the horizon.

A familiar aircraft was swiftly approaching.

The X-Jet?

"Charles?"

Frowning slightly, Magneto held back from striking the approaching military forces.

Meanwhile, the U.S. troops also noticed the new aircraft.

Uncertain of its origin, they held their fire.

Moments later, the X-Jet landed on a nearby open field.

The ramp descended, and Logan and the others—clad in their black X-suits—stepped out.

"Hmm?"

Magneto, still floating in midair, immediately noticed something strange.

That was... Charles?

Charles isn't in his wheelchair?

And... what's that he's wearing on his head?

As he watched Charles walk down from the X-Jet alongside Logan and the others, Magneto's mind reeled.

Without waiting for a response from the military, he floated over and looked down at Charles.

"Charles, your legs... they're healed?"

"How did that happen?"

Logan and the others tensed as Magneto approached.

But Professor X wasn't alarmed. Instead, he looked up at him and smiled gently.

"Messiah healed me."

Messiah?

Magneto blinked, stunned.

As the two spoke, more military vehicles rolled into position, surrounding them.

The dozens of agents, soldiers, and officers at the scene had also heard what Charles said.

"Messiah?"

These people... had dealings with Messiah?

They were stunned.

Among them, a thirty-something major named Pedro quickly pulled out a communicator and reported the situation to command.

On the other end, a stern male voice replied at once.

"Do not engage for now. Let's hear what they have to say."

Pedro's expression showed that he had expected as much. He wasn't surprised.

Both the White-Clad Hero and Messiah were taboo subjects to the military. If they could avoid provoking them, they would.

Putting away the communicator, Major Pedro fixed his gaze on Magneto and the others, ready to listen in on their conversation.
