Chapter 4 - Contract
George wasn't aware; how to sign the contract. So, he asked, "How do I sign the contract? I am a soul. I don't have blood."
"Signing the contract isn't that complex. You only have to think about signing the contract in your mind, and your name would appear on the contract," Aakesh answered. George nodded and thought about signing the contract in his mind.
"Arghh," George groaned due to the sudden pain. The pain was short-lived, but it was intense. He felt as if someone was cutting his soul. In the contract, the dark red color of his soul form below his name appeared after the pain faded.
Aakesh took back the contract. Suddenly, an enormous vertical eye appeared in the sky. The mysterious eye monster had white pupils on the black sclera. The beast had Sixteen tiny single wings on both the left and right.
The vertical eye peered directly at George and the contract. George felt his whole body chilled when the eye looked at him. He felt standing naked in a snowstorm. The contract started dissipating after few seconds. The monster also disappeared after the agreement entirely dissipated. After the vertical eye disappeared, a black timer with a red hue appeared inside George's mind.
"What was that, senior?" George tremblingly asked Aakesh, as he still shuddered from the fear thinking about the feeling he felt.
"Oh, it was the Cosmos Contract beast. This beast overviews the contracts around the Multiverse," Aakesh explained about the beast. "A timer must have appeared in your mind," He then asked George.
George nodded "Don't exceed the timer. Otherwise, you'll have to face the wrath of the beast," Aakesh then sternly warned him. George nodded, his head like a pecking chicken to show his understanding.
"Want to know a way to break the contract?" Aakesh then suddenly asked George.
It was an unexpected question that left George dumbfounded. He shook his head, imagining the owner of the store might be testing him.
"Don't worry. It's not a test," Aakesh explained, seeing George's thoughts.
George still shook his head. He genuinely doesn't want to know. The moment he signed the contract, he was committed to paying the fee.
Aakesh couldn't help but smile, seeing George's firm refusal. "You ask idiotic questions, but you're a man of integrity, " He complimented George.
"Senior, you too smile like a normal person," George exclaimed on the spur of the moment. He noticed he spoke over his limit, so he started feeling awkward.
Aakesh didn't respond to his apology and handed out the embryo to him. A serious look appeared on George's face as he gently took the sphere.
"Thirty years is the deadline to pay and remember there is no interest. Either pay on time or face the consequences," Aakesh warned George sternly.
Before George could thank, Aakesh waved his hands. George and the embryo both suddenly disappeared from the store.
"Do you think he'll be able to pay?" A childish voice asked as Lily returned to Aakesh shoulder after George left.
"He had to," Aakesh expressionlessly responded while waving his hands. All the contents lying out returned to their respective shelves on their own after that.
"You smiled?" Lily jumped on his head and asked.
"Yes, He is naive and good-hearted, but the world needs people like him," Aakesh responded.
"He is an idiot too," Lily added. Aakesh only smiled in response.
"Let's read Pursuit of Eternal's latest chapter," Aakesh announced.
"We can read the whole story if you let me see the future," Lily grumbled.
"And, what fun would be that?" Aakesh gently hit the tiny head of Lily and responded. 𝘧r𝘦𝗲w𝘦𝚋𝐧o𝘷𝘦𝙡.co𝑚
One of the minor worlds in hell,
It was barren land, with no traces of life to be seen.
"Huh, what happened?"
George exclaimed as he suddenly found himself in a different environment.
"Senior didn't even warn me," George murmured with a wry smile. He didn't see the embryo with him, so he searched left and right for it. He found the embryo lying down on the ground next to him.
The knowledge of how to use the embryo suddenly appeared in his mind. "When did senior do that?" He muttered horrifyingly. The fear he had for Aakesh increased even more.
He tapped the embryo seven times in seven different areas on the sphere. The embryo then started shining Dark red. The embryo suddenly engulfed George's soul.
"Arghhh," George screamed due to the pain he was feeling right now. The pain was too sudden and too intense. He felt like ants were biting his soul slowly. His whole body was getting created, so the process continued for hours. The pain only got worse as time passed. He even tried to quit the process midway due to the pain, but the process continued despite him not wanting it.
The pain finally subsided when his whole body was created. "Is it done?" He groaned after the pain didn't appear for minutes.
"Eh, why is my hand red? And why is my hand so big?" He suddenly exclaimed when he saw his hand had turned enormous and red.
He stood up hurriedly. He then noticed every part of his body was red. He then felt his face with his hands and got stunned. "What beast did I become?" He exclaimed as he could feel the roughness of his face, and there were two small horns right above both his eyebrows.
"Did I grow taller too?" He looked taller to himself when he stood up. "WHERE IS MY PENIS?" He yelled with a horrified look on his face as he found only a plane area there. He tried to poke there in the hope something comes out, but nothing happened.
"I should first check out the area rather than looking at me," He murmured after staying disappointed for some time, as he was in an unknown open area and that too in hell. He could find about his body and power anytime in a safe place. He wouldn't even know how he died in this open area if some powerful being were to arrive here.
He was very uncomfortable while walking, as it was an entirely different body and even different features than his previous human body. He walked for what felt like hours to him, but he didn't find anything. It was dark all over the area, as the sun never shines in hell.
After several hours, he stopped and sat down on the barren ground due to tiredness. His eyelids suddenly started becoming heavy. He desperately wanted to stay awake, but he couldn't.. As a result, after a futile attempt to stay awake, he slumped to the ground.
